about
Laura Guy.
dance artist · choreographer · movement teacher
Physicality, textures, images, sensations and the joy of movement: deeply personal performances made to resonate with anyone, not only with dance audiences.

the story
Laura Guy is a French-Danish choreographer, dancer and movement teacher based in Berlin since 2011. Her work blends raw physicality with emotional storytelling and grows out of her own movement method, Healing via Movement & Joy, supported by Fonds Darstellende Künste and NEUSTART KULTUR.
She trained at the Alvin Ailey Junior Program in New York, earned her BA in Dance at DANCEWORKS Berlin in 2014, and danced with Cie Le Marchepied in Lausanne. She then deepened her practice in the Gaga movement language at the Batsheva Dance Company studios in Israel, where she also danced in works by Yaara Dolev and Amit Goldenberg. She is a certified yoga and relaxation teacher (India, 2017).
